This video defines the Triton series. I have the 400 model number, it is the same interface, but I lack certain maps and the ability to take digital photos. This video should give you an idea of the new handheld I purchased to assist my iphone out in the field.

Dazzle Coin's Tour out GeoTiki Studios! Awsome!

If you watch my website, you should know I am a fan of the hand made geotiki.com geocoins. Tiki is an artist living in Hawaii - also a geocacher of course. I began following their coin series early on and I own one silver fellow and a bronze of almost all the other entries into their series.
I sent one of my own Dazzle Chihuahua coins with a coworker/geocacher on the way to the islands on business. He took a series of photos of the coin around Hawaii, dropped it in a cache and now a year later the coin has realized it's goal.
The goal was to get into Tiki's hands and take a tour of the mysterious studio where the sacred coins are made.
This is so cool! I am very excited to report that Dazzle has arrived and the photos are in!

Thanks Tiki! This was so much fun for me! If anyone wants more info on Tiki the artist/geocacher and the series, visit Geotiki.com

Activation Codes for Pocketpups.net Geocoins
If you find yourself without your codes, don't fret! Just hop on over to the geocoinclub.com website where you will find a retrieval service in the header of the webpage. We have asked them to help us manage this piece of our coins since we do not have system of our own that is automated. Enjoy!
Thanks geocoinclub!

New CacheRock Travel Bug Hybrid Test

I have created a CacheRock, Travel bug hybrid. It is my first one and I plan to launch more out in the urban jungles.
This will be a paperless cache. There will be *NO logbook. I want geocaching.com to offer the option of "No Logbook" and issue a separate serial code for caches.
I feel it will improve the situation in the field. It is better for the environment by using less trees, saving the cache owner on gas, and producing no litter.
You cannot get credit for logging this cache without the travel bug being discovered.
